The Himba of Northern Namibia

previously we have learnt that what we see isn’t really there (helmholtz 1876); colours are similar. 

There’s research how we see colours, and it showed that we see colours differently. A tribe in Namibia saw more tonal variations in certain colours than we do, and also couldn’t differentiate between blue and green. 

This reinforces the idea that the world isn’t how we think it is, it’s our brain.
