Francesca Woodman

Every time I look at Woodmans work, it inspires me to create using photography. The black and white always catches my eye and is how I prefer to show my work too, I believe it makes the viewer look at the content more as theres less to take away your attention, it also gives it an eerie feeling which i love. I like to use light and shadows like Woodman does, to show hidden areas or depth to the work. Interestingly, Woodman mostly has something hiding or covering her body in her work whether that be part of the furniture/walls/ shadows or blurring.
